Scientific skills are not automatically required (they are a plus), as training will be provided as soon as you arrive. This requires a few days during which you must be diligent. Once the training is completed, we expect the volunteers to stay with us for a few weeks. It is therefore necessary to plan a stay of at least one month. Priority is given to long stays.
Be in good physical health
Every day several kilometres must be covered in the soft sand on the beach. The maintenance of the plantations also puts us to the test: repotting, holes, watering…
Accept to live in the "natural" way
The reception conditions are rustic but the atmosphere is exceptional. Camping, collective kitchen area, shower, dry toilets.
Night-time care activities during the egg-laying and birthing season require good sleep management.
Would you like to join our teams, get involved in the protection of marine turtles and share these exceptional moments? Contact us, tell us who you are, where you live, your projects, your expectations and what skills you think you can bring to us. We receive about twenty volunteers per season, from November to May for stays of one month or more. Camping accommodation at the nursery, La Roche Percée beach. Shower and kitchen at disposal.
Are you ready to participate on an occasional basis, a weekend, a few days? Join us for a one-time monitoring action, reforestation, watering or any other activity that will allow us to put our energies together.
